Circle of Life Power of Home Programs strengthen and support thriving communities through the power of home ownership so families can reach overall financial well-being through homeownership while working to revitalize and rehab distressed properties and making that refurbished inventory available to families in need. Communities can Rent, Repair or Own their home.

We partner to originate mortgage loans, help families enhance their credit scores, their standards of living, while contributing to improved economic conditions throughout the communities we serve.

Power Shared Housing Program

Circle of Life Power Shared Support Housing is a “sweat equity” program that gives income qualified family the means to construct their own home. Families who participate perform approximately 65% of the construction labor, under qualified supervision of The Frink Firm, on their home. The labor that families contribute substantially reduce the cost of their home while also building equity. Participants in the program must be willing to contribute a minimum of 30 hours per week for approximately 6 to 12 months. Family and friends can contribute up to 15 hours per week which counts toward the 30 hours needed. The Power Shared Support Housing Program is designed to assist families who are unable to buy clean, safe housing through conventional methods.

 

Power Home Repair Loan Program

Circle of Life Power Home Repair Loan program administers home repair loans to assist eligible homeowners to make repairs to their homes.  Home Repair loans are often limited to specific areas or other criteria. 

 

Power Down Payment A Program

Down payment assistant helps future homeowners with their down payment. The money they put "down" or the down payment can be one of the largest hurdles for many first-time homebuyers. Circle of Life will offer several options for down payment and closing cost assistance.
